Introducing Datamart

Datamart is a Java application with a JDBC connection to Timesquare® relational database. It aims to feed the target database for a decision-making use.

Technical requirements

The following technical requirements are built on our clients-based experiences, thus these advices may change according to the development of the software program.
In all instances, Holy-Dis recommends a technical study of the architecture to be implemented in order to perfectly address all the project’s array.
In order to give quick and efficient answers, our support teams must be able to access the « log files » as soon as possible.
In case of technical problems, no diagnosis will be made without those data (that can be either accessed directly through remote maintenance, or provided by client teams).

The target platform for Datamart deployment must meet the technical requirements, at a minimum:

• A VM or physical machine for the execution of Datamart application
• A relational database (see the list of supported database management system below) to receive data produced by Datamart
• The Java environment (JRE 8) to run Datamart application
• Connectivity to Timesquare® database and Datamart target database, including network connectivity and opening of required feeds

Disks	40 Go or more
OS	Windows Server 2012 or more, Linux
Java	JRE 8

Software requirements

The database management system supported by Datamart are listed below:

• Oracle 12c R2
• MS SQL Server 2016
• MySQL 5.7
