Object of the interface
The interface makes it possible to extract absences from the initial schedule available in Timesquare® so as to provide the expected information in a text file that can be read and interpreted by a third-party solution. This export can be done on demand or automatically.
Learn more about setting up this import.
File name
The file can be named in several ways depending on whether Timesquare generates a different file for each day or a single file containing one or more days of absence.
The file name is free (label + extension) but once defined in the export settings, it should not change.
Examples: Absence_A.txt, Absences_Timesquare.001, Absence.csv.
Format
Text. UTF-8 encoding.
Separator between two information
The separator between two pieces of information is the semicolon (;).

Rules
In the event of a partial absence, the Hour value column is populated with the number of hours of absence. Example: 3:00 a.m. The day valuation is fed with the number of days, for example for a partial absence of 3 hours, the Day valuation column is fed with "0.5".
In the event of a complete absence, the Hour value column is populated with the daily duration of absence.
If an absence present in the export is deleted after the export is created, it is also deleted from the export. If the deleted absence is the last one in the configuration, it is not deleted and an error message is displayed when the export is executed.
If the Exclude rest days and bank holidays from the exported absence period option is not checked, the period of absence includes any rest periods and/or closed days adjacent to the actual period of absence entered in Timesquare.
Example:
In the example above:
- if the Exclude rest days and bank holidays from the exported absence period option is checked, the line is exported as follows:
MAT001;CP;04/04/2025;05/04/2025;14h30;2.0 - if the Exclude rest days and bank holidays from the exported absence period option is not checked, the line is exported as follows:
